Summary: Security must provide effective patrol, strong community relations and professional communication to the MNGE. In addition, other duties and responsibilities may be requested of you, which are not specified in your job duties, Facility Post Orders and SOPs; the ability to react and accomplish tasks assigned, is a must.

Responsibilities

• Patrol
• Monitor and identify activities/situations that pose security or safety risks.
• Ensure all rules, regulations, and law violation issues are resolved.
• Provide crowd control when applicable.
• Respond to all assigned security incidents and requests for service from the casino or requested by an outside entity.
• Complete investigations of those incidents that rise to this level.
• Community Relations
• Meet and greet all members of our organization within assigned areas.
• Inquire into the needs of guest, employees and other members of our organization.
• Exceed the casino's customer service standard.
• Communication
• Clearly communicate with other officers, surveillance, operations, etc.
• Effectively structure and write incident reports and other written documents.
• Must use two way radio communication systems, routinely.

Casino Security Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and enjoyable atmosphere for guests while protecting the casino's assets and interests. Education High School Diploma

Experience Customer service experience highly recommended. Previous security and/or casino experience recommended.

Licenses/Certifications Muscogee (Creek) Nation Gaming License is required. Valid Oklahoma Driver's License is required. Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements. Employee must successfully pass Gaming Security Basic Casino Officer Training. Must have the physical ability to pass the Use of Force Training. Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check, drug test, and obtain gaming license as required.

Job Demands

Physical The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. Tasks may require sitting, standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling & grasping. Length of time may vary from day to day and task to task. Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, work in confined spaces, crawl on knees, raise/reach arms overhead and work effectively whilst doing so. Must also have the mobility to, bend down, pick up, and get in and out of a variety of on-site vehicles. Must be able to stand long periods of time and/or walk in excess of 1 mile per shift. Has ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs. frequently, lift 40 lbs. and carry 50', carry 35 lbs. a distance of 500' Push/pull/drag 150 lbs. 25', and run 8mph for 100yds. Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, frequent ascent/descent from bus stairs, travel to various on/off site venues, which may involve elevation changes in surfaces. Visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics, color and symmetry. Speech to communicate clearly, express ideas and convey information in an understandable manner. Ability to hear for listening comprehension and to understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents, records and files.

Mental Social perceptiveness to assess and understand other's reactions and behavior. Must be able to handle highly charged and stressful situations. Critical thinking to use logic and reasoning, reach conclusions/solutions. Comprehension in assessing and analyzing and processing alpha, numeric and visual data; completing required documents accurately. Mental capacity to monitor sometimes complex driving situations to make quick decisions to manipulate/maneuver vehicles in crowded or high-risk areas; tolerate stress, conduct tasks under critical deadlines. Ability to concentrate on task over a period of time without being distracted.

Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing functions of his/her job. Work in motor vehicle, casino operations and external environments; exposure to second hand smoke, high noise level, bright lights, fluctuating temperatures/weather conditions.

This classification is a "safety sensitive" position as defined by MNGE. As a "safety sensitive" classification, you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process, or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana
