Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWELDER/FITTER2 years' experience12 hr. shift Monday through Saturday& Sundays as needed.$25.00 DOEResponsibilities and Duties* Uses metal core mig, tig, flux core or stick welding process (must pass two or more)* Ability to pass applicable test(s) and applicable Non-Destructive Exam* May weld brackets and braces and use grinders. May position pieces be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools. May perform position welds on code materials.* Proficient in flame and plasma cutting torches.* Experience reading and understanding blueprints.* Must be able to operate basic cutting equipment.* Promotes and supports safety, production, and positive attitude, observing and complying with all safety and project rules.* Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.* Type and use a computer or other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones.* Requires operation of heavy equipment such as welding tools on a constant frequency and forklift on an occasional frequency.* Ability to weld according to Welding Procedure Specification and its parameter requirements.* Perform other duties as required.Preferred Education* High School Diploma* Welding SchoolRequired Experience & Skills* Knowledge of different types and sizes of pipes, structural and vessel materials* Must pass a 3G test for vessel or Towers & or 6G test pipe.* Minimum of 2 years of related experience* Apply at Americanstaffcorp.com for more detail about this position please text 918-372-3084.* #ZR
