Location: 5220 Engineering Environmental. Pay Grade: A 11 FLSA Status: Exempt. Under general supervision, assists in the acquisition of required right-of-way and properties, and coordinates the installation of private utilities, prior to the beginning of construction projects. Essential Job Functions Identifies land parcels needed for city projects; reviews legal descriptions; contacts and meets with property owners; negotiates terms of acquisition; obtains required signatures; prepares parcel acquisition packages for review and approval by City Council. Coordinates with realty service companies to obtain advantageous acquisition of temporary construction easements, permanent utility easements, and permanent rights-of-way for city projects; reviews acquisition documents for adequacy, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
