Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing production processes, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining efficient supply chain operations. Duties

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available for production runs.
  • Utilize ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, and other MRP tools to plan, monitor, and adjust production schedules.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste within the production process.
  • Conduct demand planning and forecasting activities to anticipate future production needs accurately.
  • Monitor inventory management and control processes to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to align production plans with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare reports on production schedules, inventory status, and capacity utilization for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all scheduling activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, production planning, or manufacturing scheduling.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle; familiarity with MRP modules is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, demand planning, forecasting, and inventory control.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting reports clearly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. This role is integral to maintaining efficient operations within our manufacturing environment, ensuring that production aligns seamlessly with customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
