Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Pay Range: $21–$23 per hour

Job Description

Join our dynamic team working on an exciting new switchboard project. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in mechanically assembling and wiring units, contributing to essential projects that power airports, hospitals, and schools. This position offers a fast-paced and hands-on work environment where your skills will be put to the test.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire units using schematic diagrams and work instructions.

• Handle approximately 25 wires per unit with accuracy and efficiency.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialty equipment to complete tasks.

• Collaborate with a team of assemblers to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.

• Adapt to daily work assignments based on production needs.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.

• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical assembly experience.

• 1–2 years of electrical assembly and wiring experience preferred.

• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialty tools provided.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electronic assembly and wiring diagrams.

• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10-hour shifts with scheduled breaks).

• Strong team-player attitude and good interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
