The Dry End Team is looking for a Dry End Palletizer Technician who will work in a high energy, dynamic organization established on the principles of an adaptive work system focused on the execution of reliability strategies in our Muskogee, OK facility. Successful individuals can multi-task and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. This role will report directly to the assigned performance leader. The shift will be a 12-hour rotating shift to include weekend, holidays and overtime as needed. The pay for the position will be $21.50 per hour.
Our Team
Located on the Kerr-McClellan Navigational Channel (Arkansas River) on about 640 acres of land, the Muskogee consumer products operation spans across approximately 70 acres (or 2,900,000 square feet) of manufacturing and warehouse space are "under roof" employing approximately 830 employees. We are the second largest employer in the Muskogee, OK area and 45th in the state! Our non-union facility operates on 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week, 365 days per year; housing 2 of the 13 largest tissue machines in the world and paper machines that produce an average of 900 tons of paper per day. Our finished product consists of a mix of 40% Retail and 60% Commercial.
What You Will Do
* Focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated equipment within a High-Performance Work System
* Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and reliability coordinators to ensure appropriate support to the asset strategy of assigned equipment
* Engage in the development and execution of zone ownership and/or equipment primary person responsible (PPR)
* Expand mechanical and electrical knowledge through internal training opportunities
* Understand standard and robotic palletizers stretch wrappers and conveyors
* Use mechanical skills and basic electrical skills for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
* Use Microsoft office Excel, Word, and Teams
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* High School Diploma or a GED
* Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting equipment and machinery
* Minimum of one (1) year or more of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program
What Will Put You Ahead
* Three (3) or more years of experience operating, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment
* Three (3) or more years of experience using computerized machinery in a production environment
* Experience working in a Pulp/Paper Mill or with Palletizer/ Converting equipment
* Experience performing preventive maintenance routes in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Experience using Microsoft Office tools
